As Australian painting technology was acrylic paint based, Dietmar had to learn a new aspect of his trade. When two-pack paints were finally introduced, Dietmar was able to show his knowledge and experience to his employer M&J Novak. A year later he was given the opportunity to work for Spartan Paints as their European trained, technical paint expert, a role he worked in through 1984/85.

In 1998 Dietmar Scheidle & Co won the AAMI/Australasian Paint & Panel Victorian Auto Body Repairer of the Year. Through hard work and dedication, the same award was also won in 1999.

In 2004, after many years of successful trading and business expansion, Dietmar wanted to create and run a business his own way. After purchasing property in West Melbourne, Dietmar built Eurostyle Bodymaster, using the latest in equipment, tools and procedures to ensure the highest quality and uncompromising precision repair to any vehicle.

Dietmar's philosophy is that an autobody repairer has to have the infrastructure in place and highly trained tradesmen to carry out repairs to fully service every customer. Keeping a strong relationship with manufacturers and insurers is a must and a concerted effort be made alongside educational institutions into training the younger generation. This philosophy has lasted for over a decade and has helped Eurostyle Bodymaster to retain it's position amongst the leaders of the industry.
